When it comes to creating a multiplayer game, one of the first steps you'll need to take is to set up your project with Netcode. In this article, we'll walk you through the process of installing and setting up Netcode in Unity.

The first thing you'll need to do is create a new folder called 'Prefabs' inside your Assets folder. To do this, right-click inside the Assets folder and select 'Create > Folder'. Name the folder 'Prefabs'.

Next, select your Player object and add a Netcode > NetworkObject component in the Inspector Tab. This will allow you to spawn objects for each connected player.

To create an object to spawn for each connected player, click on the Assets folder under the Project tab and right-click in the Hierarchy tab of the Unity Window to create a 3D Object > Capsule.

Once you've created your object, select it and add a NetworkManager component. This is the component that has all your project's netcode-related settings. You may get unexpected results if you create more than one NetworkManager, so make sure to only have one in your project.

To set up your NetworkManager, select it and click on the 'NetworkTransport' field. Here, you'll need to add a Unity Transport (UTP) component, which is the transport layer that Netcode uses for communication between the server and clients.

Finally, make sure that there is only one NetworkManager in your project, as having multiple can cause issues. Right-click in the Hierarchy tab of the main Unity Window and select 'NetworkManager' to create a new one if needed.
